It’s a lot harder to update five blogs a day than I originally thought. And the fact that I want to have a specialized theme for each and every one of them. It’s hard having five separate personalities also…

Wikinvest is like the Wikipedia of investing. All of the information on wikinvest is user submitted. It’s a really good time waster if you want to learn something in the process.

I did some searches for less well-known companies and found a lot of blank pages, waiting for users to contribute. According to the listing on the site, there are 443 companies so far, so they still have a long way to go. But it’s pretty fun to mess around with if you have any interest in investing.

Feedburner and RSS How-to

Feedburner is an extremely useful tool that lets you take your blog’s RSS feed and track how many people are subscribed and add Google Ads to the feed. I’ve got it set up now on all 6 of my blogs.

For those of you who don’t know, RSS is an electronic standard that nearly every blog uses. New posts are automatically inserted into a blog’s RSS “feed.”

The main purpose of RSS is that it allows you to use an RSS reader such as Google Reader to keep track of lots of blogs without having to actually go to the website every day.

If you want to test it out, click on RSS Complete up on the top right of my blog, then click +Google. When it asks you, choose Google Reader.

Now go to another blog, like Playing iPhone, scroll down and look for the little orange RSS icon (in this case right next to Latest Posts). Now click on the icon, and click +Google again to subscribe.

Now all you need to do to keep up with this blog is go to Google Reader. It will automatically update the feeds and download the latest posts for you. Cool!

Just to let you know, I have no experience. I am starting at square zero.

I haven’t yet earned even a penny. This blog will document my [hopeful] rise to making money on the internet, and I will provide details of what I accomplish.
